Innoslate 4.0 Performance Benchmark

Soon we will announce a major advancement for the systems engineering community, Innoslate 4.0. Before we announce the exciting new features that Innoslate 4.0 has to offer, we wanted give a sneak peek at Innoslate 4.0’s performance improvements. Many common operations are up to twice as fast as Innoslate 3.9, with large operations averaging 1500% performance improvement.

All tests below were performed on an Intel Core i5-6500 CPU desktop at 3.20GHz with 4 Core(s), 256GB SSD, and 16GB of physical memory (RAM). The desktop utilized the Windows 10 operating system, Microsoft SQL Server 2016, and Innoslate Enterprise 4.0. The same physical machine was used to generate the results for each of the Innoslate versions.

As indicated in the chart and table above, Innoslate 4.0 is up to 1557% faster than Innoslate 3.9 at large report operations. Most complex reports have been migrated to backend services to decrease report generation time.

Conclusion

Innoslate 4.0 brings industry leading performance to the systems engineering community with proven scalability tested to 10 million entities in the same project using commodity hardware. Innoslate Enterprise is capable of further scalability with additional RAM and CPU resources. Additionally, Innoslate supports clustering and can elastically scale with application servers to multiple nodes.
